Post-doctoral position  We are seeking to recruit a post-doctoral fellow to conduct a project on Tumor Immunology/Immunotherapyat the Unit of Immunity and Inflammation in the Humanitas Clinical and Research Center, Milan. We are a new Unit looking for a highly motivated researcher to join the group. Our research is dedicated to the investigation of the interplay existing between the tumor and its immune microenvironment. The candidate will explore the impact of the innate immune response in tumor progression and metastasis formation in cancer mouse models. A major focus of our project will be the preclinical and clinical development of new immunotherapeutic strategies aimed at the reprogramming of the tumor microenvironment against cancer initiation and progression. Candidate requirements include Ph.D, a high degree of motivation in academic research and a good ability to work independently. Indeed, the post-doctoral fellow will have the possibility to develop a personal line of research on the topics of the group. Skills in cellular and molecular immunology are required. Experience in multidimensional flow cytometry is desirable. Knowledge in transgenic mouse models is advantageous. The Humanitas Clinical and Research Center leads medical research in several fields, and among these the tumor immunology. The institute offers an excellent and dynamic working environment and boasts state-of-the art facilities and new laboratory space. In addition, in the Humanitas Clinical and Research Center we can benefit of a tight connection between research and clinical activities.
